Pinnacle has a growth strategy that will take us from a little known $20m company with 50 Dealerships and 1000 teammates to a $120m company with several hundred dealerships and 6000-7000 teammates by the end of 2020! I’m calling this the 120 x 20 plan!
This includes both strong organic and acquisition growth. We’ll share more throughout the coming months, but I’d like to share some of the characteristics about how I think our company will look and feel in only a few short years.
Almost like therapy, I’d like you to close your eyes and just imagine…
Pinnacle begins to get recognition as a strong, well-respected, premium Brand! Everyone involved values the experience of creating a company with a more well-known reputation in the automotive industry, the financial/investment community, and even the general public.
- A reputation for great leadership at every level!
- A really clear and obvious ability to recruit, hire, and inspire people like very few others in the automotive space
- A Brand built on improving Dealer Customer Experiences…this drives who we let join our leadership team; the kinds of services that we offer in the Pinnacle suite of services; the type of people we hire at every level…we’re bringing hospitality to the automotive space by attracting service-oriented, energized people who get excited about looking for ways to create world class customer experiences. Everything in our company will revolve around improving Dealer Customer Experiences!
People join us because Pinnacle is known as a great place to work.
Pinnacle will likely be operating in 20-30 States, have 2-3 Divisions with 5-6 VPs, several dozen Regional, District, and Area Manager positions, 15-20 Regional Sales Executives and Sales leaders, 10-15 Talent Managers and Talent leaders, and likely another 30-40 Regional Support and Corporate positions. While there are no guarantees, our hope is that many of these positions come from within. Be one of the best at what you do AND show an aptitude to do more and this could very likely be you!
Customers put more value on what we do and are more likely to believe that they can’t survive without us vs. can’t afford us. We actually get to more commonly say No to some prospects and even customers who want Pinnacle, but don’t want to pay appropriate margins and/or are just not the right fit.
The organization is full of talented people who are motivated and inspired by the opportunity to lead and influence others. They are self-motivated and just want their leaders to give them a chance and help show them the way. They are energized and want to be challenged and pushed to grow both personally and professionally.
Every year is like a dog year! Folks within and outside the organization are utterly amazed at the real, tangible changes that happen at Pinnacle each year.
A reputation for creating clear, compelling shareholder value each year!
As your leader, I will work hard to help you visualize what the future will look like as we build Pinnacle into something great. Consider this as the first installment!
Have a great week.
I love Dogs!
